Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft is a softer version of the popular Rakza 7 rubber, designed for players who want a lot of rotation, more feel, and easier control of the ball.
The upper rubber is the same as in the Rakza 7 model and contains a high proportion of natural rubber, which provides exceptional ball grip. As a result, the player can more easily generate strong spin on topspin, serves, short game, and opening play against underspin balls.
The main difference is in the softer sponge. This allows a longer contact time between ball and rubber, so the ball sinks a little deeper into the surface upon impact. The result is better feel, more control, and easier rotation generation even when the player does not have perfect contact position.
Rakza 7 Soft has a slightly higher launch angle than the classic Rakza 7. On topspin strokes, the ball travels in a higher arc, increasing safety over the net and enabling greater reliability in exchanges.
